Join us for the annual Darlington Range Walk in support of Community Cancer Care - Canungra! Starting at the water tanks on the corner of Appel and Kidston Streets, Canungra, we'll head up the mountain and along picturesque Darlington Range Road. You can expect amazing views, great company, and some laughs along the way as we raise funds for Community Cancer Care - Canungra.
There are prizes for the best-dressed individuals and groups, as well as our most successful fundraisers. We'll be holding raffles on the day, with all funds contributing to the annual Turning Canungra Pink event series, the major fundraising drive for Community Cancer Care - Canungra, which provides practical financial support to members of our community undergoing cancer treatment.
So, get a team together! Get fundraising! And join us as we dress up, and walk, run or stroll on Sunday, 4th October 2026!
Registration starts at 7.00 am, for a 7.30 am step off. The 8km round trip journey takes us to the top of Darlington Range Road, then back to finish at the Canungra Hotel for a debrief, included sausage sizzle and prize draws!

1. Assumption of Risk
Participants understand that participating in the Darlington Range Walk involves physical activity. The route may include public roads, footpaths, uneven surfaces, and changing weather conditions. While police support is provided to assist with safety, traffic risks still exist. Attendees agree to:
Remain highly visible at all times, especially when navigating corners or intersections.
Stay alert and remain mindful of vehicular traffic.
Follow all instructions given by event marshals, volunteers, and police officers.
By participating, individuals voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including the risk of personal injury, illness, property damage, or death.
2. Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate, the participant hereby releases, waives, and discharges the event organizers, committee members, volunteers, sponsors, local authorities, and police support staff from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of negligence or any other cause resulting in personal injury, accident, or property loss during the event.
3. Medical Fitness and Treatment
Participants certify that they are physically fit and sufficiently trained to complete this walk safely. In the event of an injury or illness during the walk, organizers are authorized to arrange or administer first aid and emergency medical treatment if necessary. Participants agree to cover all costs associated with such medical care. First aid officers are located at 500 metre intervals along the walking route.
4. Media Release
The participant consents to the event organizers taking photographs or video footage during the walk. These materials may be used for future event promotion, websites, or social media without compensation.
