A young student from Botswana has the extraordinary opportunity to represent her country in Mission ShakthiSAT, a landmark global space initiative empowering girls from 108 countries through satellite education, collaboration and hands-on STEM learning.

As part of this global effort, Aarvi Chhabra from Team Australia is raising funds to support Team Botswana’s journey to India and help ensure that financial barriers do not prevent Botswana from being represented in this historic mission.

Mission ShakthiSAT, envisioned by renowned space leader Dr. Srimathy Kesan, will train 12,000 girls from 108 countries through the nationally recognised “CUBESAT 101: Inception to Operations” curriculum developed by Space Kidz India and approved by IN-SPACe and NCVET under the Government of India.

The initiative provides 120 hours of satellite training, giving young girls an opportunity to develop practical knowledge, confidence and aspirations in space science and technology.
