Meet Penelope—a sweet, gentle soul who came into our care with a painful injury to her ankle. This lovely girl wouldn’t bear any weight on her leg, and after further investigation, we discovered that it was an old injury that had sadly been left untreated by her previous owners.

Despite the pain she’s endured, Penelope remains an affectionate, tail-wagging ray of sunshine who adores human company and just wants to be loved. She now needs specialist surgery to fuse her ankle joint, which will allow her to live a pain-free life and enjoy all the cuddles and comfort she truly deserves.
